And Put Away Childish Things

It was a nice short romp into Narnia(?), okay not really, but I still enjoyed the author's way of painting a new narrative onto old stories. He manages to transform a world into a unique creation that is a little bit sci-fi and a little bit touch of old childish comfort. 

I read this book from the author to get a taste before trying some of his longer and bigger works. 

I was enjoying the accessible writing style, the easy flowing story, and while I wouldn't call it a pager turner it was exhilarating to turn the pages to figure out where I was in the story.
