Coy Mason is a jerk. If there is one truth that Bellamy Davenport knows, it's that. Well, that and the fact she didn't mean to hurt him. Physically. Coy can't be hurt emotionally because he doesn't have a heart. Coy is not just the small-town, literal boy next door. He's a heartbreaking, womanizing, mischief-making (and delicious) man and was all of those things well before he became a hot-shot country music sensation. He's a dream standing in her doorway with no shirt, messy hair, and a "Do you wanna?" grin. But he's also a nightmare for her heart, and she knows it. Their enemies-to-lovers relationship always ends the same way-heavy on the enemies, light on the lovers. So why is she still standing there?

Didn't love it, but didn't hate it. Characters were eh.

What a sweet sweet love. At first I thought okay, this is slow slow burn, but nooooooo. Dead center, BAM. šŸ”„ I loved Coy & Bells story. Second chance, somewhat enemies to lovers, small town, what trope didn't she hit?! I especially loved the family appreciation, Bellamy sacrificing everything to stay close to her dad, & Coys big family šŸ˜. Download the book, call out of work. It's worth it.

Loved Coy and Bellamy!! I read an excerpt in Larissa’s story and since then I wanted to read between them, besides I love enemies-to-lovers books and this was perfect. Coy and Bellamy knew each other since kids and with Riss and Boone they were always together until life brought them apart. Coy is now a musician secluded in his childhood home after some drama and has to lay low. Bellamy lives next door taking care of her sick father and when they see each other again there’s a mix of hate, love and laughter. Their banter and chemistry was the best, they loved each other since they were kids but after some misunderstandings they grew apart. I loved how Bellamy was, despite all she went through with her father, she was an amazing person and she had a lot of people who loved her, including Coy after some time together. Like the first book, I loved the relationship between Coy and his brothers, they always had each other’s back despite the jokes. Next is Boone’s story and I can’t wait to read more of him and the rest of themā¤ļø
