I read the book when it was on wattpad and that was it. there was no talk about a movie or it being published. When I first started reading it, I loved it.. but near the end of the whole story, (which this book won't have since it's a trilogy) I HATED it. Of course I finished it to see what happened with the idiots, but I could barely do that! I don't know why anyone liked it. The relationship was based on/started by a bet that is such shit and then the whole relationship is emotionally abusive. It is also a Harry Styles fanfic on wattpad (I am a fan of One Direction) and so many young girls read this because they love him so much and I don't want anyone else reading this because I don't want girls thinking this is the way a relationship should be. This whole story shows everything a relationship should NOT be actually.I hated all the constant back and forth between the two because once again, this story is emotionally abusive. I HATE that Anna Todd is getting paid by everyone buying her book and then if the movie does good.

I never write out reviews on here. I usually just rate them, but hopefully you can see just how much I hate this series since I typed out a freaking paragraph.

Rowling eyes. Agora tenho pena dela unf

I never post reviews but I need to get this off my chest. Sorry for any typos.
I had my « bad boy »,romanticizing abusive relationships phase when I was 12 because that’s when I started reading on Wattpad, and After was just one of the many books that portrayed such a bad exemple. This app alone played such a big part in how I viewed every relationship, sex in general etc for so many years.
I’m now over this but with the movie adaptation now out it’s influencing new people. My best friend can’t stop recommending it to me telling me that : « my hormones’ll go crazy ». In a way I’m glad I got through that phase early in my life while the only boyfriend I had was the one I was reading about. But sadly the popularization of books like that just makes more innocent souls that never opened wattpad think this garbage is hot.

I thought that this book was okay when I read it

In my honest opinion I love this series so much! It’s so addictive and I’m obsessed with the relationship between Hardin and Tessa. The way the author describes everything

Mara Rose

I fell in love with this series from the first chapter and I have had the pleasure of getting to know Anna a little bit through twitter and she's like the big sister I've never had. I'm honestly so very happy for her. She deserves it all. Absolutely amazing.

That's not how sex works. That's not how sexual debuts work. That's not how healthy relationships work. That's not how plot works. That's not how the English language works. Real person fanfiction is a particular kind of disgusting, and the rise of the After series is a particular kind of despicable.

This Series is the First Series Ever that made me fall in love with Romance or Young-Adult.

I can’t say no to Anna Todd! I really can’t.
