i love juliemitchell so much!!!

juliemitchell my beloveds.

"blank space" by taylor swift
i wasn't expecting to love this so much especially julie's character like she's so mirrorball coded and her character development in terms of commitment/views on love was MWAH (also so real for her to have to commitment issues tho)
this book was giving "how to lose a guy in ten days" the movie I LOVED IT
also julie falling in love but still denial when grace and riley asks - reminds me of the meg singing "i won't say i'm in love" in the hercules movie

3.5⭐ the thing i want to say about this book is that i wish it was longer. i wished for more interaction between the three main girls and a bit more of their friendship because i'm a sucker for female friendship but seeing how short this book is, it didn't have time to develop it as much as i'd have liked. Also one thing i truly dislike about this book is the mean girl trope, i truly wish authors would stop writing girls who are mean just for the sake of being mean. Other than that i must say that i enjoyed reading this book, i even cried at some point because i had a lot of feelings. i recommend it if you're looking for a fast and fun read, especially for fans of the bold type because i definitely think they're a bit similar.

the character arcs are interesting,,, but how the plot progresses... not so much

2.5

juliemitchell supremacy <3

read this while barely retaining anything about it. it went fast and was not very memorable either. didn't like the love interest at all ... but there were some cute moments that kept me going (the jogging stuff stands out). not totally regrettable but not really great either.

AMO A ESTA GENTE

This was How to Lose a Guy in 10 days meets Sex and the City. The book setting, the whole magazine concept... it is all very rom-com-y. AND I LOVE IT. This is one of those series which is probably comforting for many people - me included, which I can already tell even though I have only read the first book. I’m looking forward to the next one! 4,25-stiletto-stars ✨

TY JENNY juliemitchell own me now

3.5 stars. the first half was so much fun and i loved julie and mitchell but the breakup was so irritating, especially the way mitchell talked to julie. plus, the ending was a bit too much for me. still had fun though

*more of a 4.5 rating* I really loved this. I think I have just found myself another fave author. I however feel we should have gotten more scenes with Julie, Grace and Riley.

Lauren Layne is becoming a favourite and this book is a perfect example of why. It was quick and fun and steamy and funny and just swoon worthy. I liked the characters, the storyline and just the book in general and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. I have to say, this book gave me a strong, strong urge to rewatch How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. It has a similar storyline and I couldn't ignore that fact. It bothered me at times but not enough to get me stop reading. In the end, it was only a vague similarity and really the book itself was really fun.

Got me outta my slump. I loved it.

I could not stop reading this story from the first page. These characters are so lovable and relate able that many reader can connect to. Julie is the Dater Queen. She is the perfect girl to have if you are looking for no commitment. However, everything changes when her boss tells her to do an article on relationship. She decides to pursuit Mitchell because he seem the "boring" type. But Mitchell is looking for a change since he made a bet on not being in an relationship. Mitchell and Julie are totally opposite but are totally perfect for each other. They truly begin to fall in love with each other that it freaks them out at first. But then they both decide to fall in love. However, Mitchell realize that Julie were going to write an article about their "fake" relationship. Julie finally realize that she definitely love him so much that she writes her true feeling how she fall in love accidentally! I love this story so much that every reader should read it! ITS A Must READ!

It was cute story. I liked the drama and both of the characters they were not my world favorite but i like seeing what happen to them. I thought it was a little like how to loose a guy in 10 days but i am excited to read more about the ladies in this world.

When I have random book cravings (aka "I really want to reread xxxxxxxx") I give into them. So, Lauren Layne reread it is!
