paradise kiss was a super fun but kinda a sad read. the characters had their issues but all of them were realistically dealt with. I couldn't exactly pin point if it was a good or bad ending but if i had to decide it would most probably be more bittersweet.

i did like how the ending was quite realistic and didn’t end perfectly and how yukari’s future turned out. i got SO annoyed with all the characters at one point throughout the whole manga, i think the only one i have nothing to say about is isabella, she rocks <3 i was not having it with any of the couples as well like arashi and miwako are problematic (ESP ARASHI) while george and yukari were tiring and I’m actually glad they saw they weren’t fit for each other after all. overall the manga was enjoyable and i love ai yazawa’s art so visually very enjoyable as well. and yes it is a continuation of gokinjo monogatari but you don’t have to read it to understand paradise kiss. 4 stars ⭐️

           Her choosing her career over Joji was probably the best decision she could’ve made but it still saddens me that there was no future for them because I really believe they were meant to be in their adulthood. No matter how many times I reread and get to the last volume I will always stand by Yukari and although I understand Joji’s mother issues & complex I can’t help but still love him as well.

to be very honest i'm giving this a perfect score only because i have a hyperfixation on fashion and the process of making cute clothes so yea.
