Hands-down the most incredible magical manifesto I've ever read. This is the second book in Aidan Wachter’s magical collection after Six Ways, but I read this first, and didn't feel held back. Weaving Fate is a practical magic book that outlines instructions to a handful of his load-bearing rituals/practices to change your timeline and hold the reins of your fate. I’ve seriously engaged with only one or two of the ritual he’s outlined, but its how he conceptualizes (or doesn’t) his understanding of The World that were most valuable to me. His writing style is very conversational, it feels like sitting down and hanging out with a clever and wise mentor. He answered many questions I’ve been parking through on how magic works, and gave me even more. Every chapter was so easy to read and fascinating but also had so much to chew on, that I had to put it down and think about it quite often. Witty, funny, open, wise, instructional, conceptual.
