Jolly good fun. I didn’t solve it but not for lack of clues - the information was all there, and the solution is a classic play on assumptions, no unfair twists by the author. 

The trend of plot twists being a sudden reveal of crucial information that was withheld from the reader is the reason I’ve long stopped trying to “solve” mysteries. I enjoy predicting the ending or acknowledging a fair deception in cosy (non-thriller) murder mysteries! And this one was more than fair - I only wish I’d paused to try to solve it!
