Okay, but why was this so sad? I was expecting this cutesy YA romance, instead I got an emotional YA romance that really tried to make me cry. It was cute and better than I expected but I rated it the way I have because I think I have read better. If it would have actually made me cry I would have rated it higher.

I went into this book thinking it would be like The Upside of Falling. Yknow a cute teen romance, but NO. I was nearly sobbing at the ending. 

In my opinion, the writing was phenomenal and the storyline was really nicely paced. I loved how every character felt like a person, like no one was added solely to be a filler like in some other books. Everyone had a place. 

I loved every moment of the book. I loved the characters, even including Katie. This book had me hooked every chapter and even after I read the last word on the last page. This is a book I will remember months, maybe years from now. And I will probably reread this book and sob all over again a hundred times over.
