Honestly, when I started this book, it kind of reminded me of Dare Mighty Things, which is a similar book about people training to go to space. And yeah, they were quite similar, and while I gave both of them three stars - I think I enjoyed DMT a bit more. I enjoyed this book, but I wasn't a huge fan of either of the main characters, to be honest. (view spoiler)[There was so much talk about how they made such great friends during all this - and about how much they would miss these people after they'd left - but we never really saw any of those friendships develop aside from the friendship and eventual romantic relationship between Naomi and Leo. The whole training part of the book interested me a lot, but the moment the romance started I kind of lost interest. (view spoiler)[I saw it coming, but it still felt kind of abrupt and suddenly they were so in love that the thought of being separated almost killed them. Dude chill. (hide spoiler)] 

I might still pick up the sequel because I do want to know how the story ends (I believe it's only a duology) but I'm not in a huge rush. And I think I will pick up the original English version - translations just never really work well for me I guess. (For one thing, I can't really judge the writing, imo, because I'm judging the translation)
