Honestly, when I started this book, it kind of reminded me of Dare Mighty Things, which is a similar book about people training to go to space. And yeah, they were quite similar, and while I gave both of them three stars - I think I enjoyed DMT a bit more. I enjoyed this book, but I wasn't a huge fan of either of the main characters, to be honest. (view spoiler)[There was so much talk about how they made such great friends during all this - and about how much they would miss these people after they'd left - but we never really saw any of those friendships develop aside from the friendship and eventual romantic relationship between Naomi and Leo. (hide spoiler)] The whole training part of the book interested me a lot, but the moment the romance started I kind of lost interest. (view spoiler)[I saw it coming, but it still felt kind of abrupt and suddenly they were so in love that the thought of being separated almost killed them. Dude chill. (hide spoiler)] I might still pick up the sequel because I do want to know how the story ends (I believe it's only a duology) but I'm not in a huge rush. And I think I will pick up the original English version - translations just never really work well for me I guess. (For one thing, I can't really judge the writing, imo, because I'm judging the translation) CAWPILE: 7 | 6,5 | 6 | 7 | 7 | 7 | 6,5 (6,71)
