Goddess of Fate

Fate had granted him twenty-four hours to solve his own murder. Not that undercover cop Luke Mars believed in fate. Especially when "fate" was supposedly a gorgeous goddess named Aurora, who claimed to be his guardian assigned from birth to watch over him. But there was no denying Luke was shot. Dead.
