“Unlawful Temptations” is not bad nor very good. It has its beautiful and entertaining moments. But after the first half it kind of went down because over multiple pages nothing happened. And, personally, I didn’t like Kat that much. She is a powerful young woman who deserves everything - especially because life hasn’t done anything good for her so far… but it is so difficult reading the dialogues and her inner thoughts when she has to be stubborn constantly. It feels like she does this “just because” of the fact that her life hasn’t been perfect before…

went into this expecting the worst cos the reviews are not great but i actually really liked it ☝🏼 sure kat was childish at times but i’ll let it slide, she was kinda funny 🤷🏻‍♀️ i liked dominic and the kids were cute too 

idk if i’ll read the whole trilogy tho. book 1 was fun but if book 2 is gonna focus on the whole layla plot thing, i’m not interested. and the books are kinda long so.. maybe someday !

Honestly I love this book. I’m not normally into the cheating trope but I will bend my morals for only Alexandria Lee! The only thing I didn’t care for was the main character from time to time. I wanted to shake her and scream be independent!
