Honestly, I think this one is my favorite so far! It was cuter and I loved how Nick made sure Charlie didn’t feel pressured to show himself knowing it was a lot for him to overcome and he needed to take it slow :)

I usually don’t read comics but these books are so cute and wholesome with real problems in them. So glad the author is showing that it’s okay to be different :) With that being said… this is not my favorite heartstopper book but it is still pretty good.

i love this universe and these characters! it did feel like not much happened in this book and i was a bit disappointed with some of the choices, but overall cute as always!

What a complete and utter waste of money. Nothing happened in any of the books that was even memorable.

Let’s not forget how CRINGE-WORTHY these ‘books’ were. Nothing anyone said was realistic and it was quite frankly, the worst series I’ve ever read in my life. Maybe it’s because it’s a graphic novel, I don’t know.

Never reading these again. Please people save your money and read something that’s worthy of being published.

Felt rushed compared to some of the other comics. I didn’t love it. It was sweet but I liked the other books better. I wish it had been a bit more educational for young teens regarding prep/gay sex but she made a good attempt. I thought Charlie’s heart to heart with his mom was interesting. Charlie gained sm confidence in this book which was great to see- his advice for his sister was great. Head boy & rocker boy so cute. I thought it was a good angle with Nick not knowing who he is without Charlie and realizing he needs to discover that on his own.

Probably my favorite chapter/volume. The queer joy was everything, with Nick and the girls in particular. These are the stories we need and I’ll be patiently waiting for chapter 8!

I forgot that I had pre-ordered this so it might as well contribute to my reading goal.

I was watching (had in the background while working) the second season of th TV show when it occurred to me how... boring this has become. Never had I appreciated miscommunication and conflict (and I include here subtle conflicts here; conflict as a literary tool and not as a physical manifestation of the concept) as narrative devices. Everyone has their issues and trauma but communicates them so very, very well. Oh wow.

Two things: 1. Authors should get off of online spaces or should at least forget about their digital print while writing. 2. Sure it is sweet and wholesome and that is not a bad thing. But it becomes a bad thing when it overstays its welcome (and it becomes boring).

I appreciate that this is for younger audiences is my only disclaimer here.
