*3.5 out of 5 stars* The journey of Eon, now Eona, the Mirror Dragoneye continue. Simply put, i had fun reading through it even though the last one hundred pages were dragging. It was a great ending and conclusion to the whole duology, though nearing the end i felt like it was rushed. PLUS ENDGAME KYGO-EONA YAAASSS

A fantastic ending to such an incredible series ! I'm glad that I wasn't disappointed since I did have high expectations of this book from other people's reviews.

More of a 4.5. Wayyyy better than the first. A lot of betrayal and intricate story-telling. It also had perhaps the most interesting love triangle that I have ever encountered. The first part of it was kinda slow like in the first book, but then it picked up and I couldn't put it down! I do have a couple complaints: certain things weren't explained very well. The main plot point happening with the folio and the dragons and the Imperial Pearl is still a little confusing to me. Also, I feel like certain things weren't completely revolved. I think an epilogue was much needed. We still don't know what happened to certain characters. And one more point that was a HUGE issue for me: I would have liked to have seen more about gender. I know that in the world the story takes place in, women were subservient to men. Eona's actions definitely should have broken through that, but even though she had more balls than a lot of the men in the story, she was still seen as a woman, and not a person. I really really wish that there would have been at least SOME part where at least SOMEBODY came to the realization that women are capable of the same feats that men are. But still, I really enjoyed it, and even though the first book was really slow, the second book made this series worth it!
