*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* “Holiday Kisses” is composed by four different novellas, each written by a different author: “This Time Next Year“ by Alison Kent - Brenna Keating is on her way to her grandmother’s house for Christmas before leaving for a year to do missionary work. But she has a car accident and is saved by her grandmother’s neighbour, Dillon Craig, an ex-military doctor who now lives a secluded life. The weather doesn't permit Dillon to take Brenna to her grandmother’s house so they are stuck at his place. And the attraction between them is hard to deny, especially when they are both confined to the same space. Brenna seems like just what Dillon needs to finally overcome the war traumas but with her imminent departure, is there really a future for them? The romance is cute and I liked the perspective of the story. “A Rare Gift“ by Jaci Burton – The last thing Wyatt Kent needs, after his disastrous marriage, is to feel so attracted with his ex-wife’s sister... And the fact that he’s spending so much time with her, due to working on the extension of her kindergarten, is really not helping... And to make matters worse, she seems determined to make things harder for him and seduce him at every chance she gets... The romance is very cute and sensual, but not really Christmassy. “It's Not Christmas Without You“ by HelenKay Dimon – The last thing Carrie Anders expected when she noticed the Christmas trees sale lot near her house was for the seller to be her ex-boyfriend Austin Thomas. She had already decided not to go home for Christmas because she was afraid that, if she saw him, she might not be able to return, and now she sees him every time she goes to the window... The problem was never lack of love, but will Carrie be able to finally make Austin understand it? I really liked Carrie but I had serious issues with Austin at first because some of his behaviours and attitudes bordered on harassment (as his own brother mentioned to him frequently) and that didn't allow me to like this story as much as I liked the others. “Mistletoe & Margaritas” by Shannon Stacey – Two years have passed since Claire Rutledge lost her husband and now she seems to be losing her mind too because, all of a sudden, she started having erotic dreams with Justin McCormick, her best friend (and her late husband’s best friend). Justin fell in love with Claire at the same time as his best friend, but he never got to act according to his feelings. Even now that Claire is a widow and seems more and more interested in him, Justin can’t stop thinking that he’s betraying his best friend. Will Claire be able to convince him to give her a chance? I really liked this story and protagonist couple.

Great holiday anthology! I enjoyed each of the four stories in this one and I really loved reading four new to me authors! I’ve already grabbed backlist titles from a couple of them. —- This Time Next Year was sweet and heartwarming. Another hit from another new to me author.
