within the first 4 chapters i had shed tears. this books helped me look at death a completely different way and, in turn, helped build a little bit more of normalcy around the trauma surrounding my grandfather’s passing. beautifully written, both the first and second time i read through it.

This is an excellent and accessible book about death. Sue's writing is so engaging - would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about death and human anatomy.
