All Things Burn A BWWM Hitman Romance
Reviews

Rating: 4.5 I seriously could not put this down! I devoured it and completely fell in love with Halle and Callum!

BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2020 3.5 ⭐️ Well!!! This is what I call a 'dark romance' compared to many of the abuse/kidnapping/stockholm syndrome/rape/bully etc etc etc stories that seem so utterly lacking in any sense of romance to me but are so popular among lots of other romance readers. But I'm sure it's tame in comparison to many of those. Both MC's end up truly morally grey here. Given the subject matter, (aka the 'meet cute'!) and how it ends, I'm kinda in shock about this one. It certainly took a much darker turn than I expected and didn't end as I thought it would. Perhaps kudos to the author for staying authentic to the character (I can't say which character) in that way. And whilst not necessary, I can very easily see a sequel working to conclude the love story of this couple for my own peace of mind! I've read a few 'hitman' romance stories in the last couple of years, and a few longer ago than that, and each one really does have something different to offer which is also somewhat of a surprise to me. I did find a few minor but irritating plot inconsistencies in the narrative that I don't recall from the author's other book that I LOVED White Whiskey Bargain, but none that I can be bothered (being honest here!) to mention in particular. I may come back and add more at a later stage.
