Gotta love a bunch of messy bitches with questionable decisions, but big hearts. The writing was beautiful, the descriptions were evocative and i would like to say delicate, staying true to the story and never once betraying the carefully crafted atmosphere. I enjoyed the diverse cast of characters all having their own flavor of strong personalities and personal tragedies. They were both soft, and brave, and willing to make choices. What I personally didnt like was the shortcuts the author took. Lots of times we were cheated out of seeing a dramatic scene playing out, instead we were simply told what happened, not being offered the chance to experience it with the characters.
