Whiter Than the Lily

Josse d'Acquin is introduced to some new friends by a neighbour, and he is struck by the beauty of the young wife and the age difference between her and her wealthy husband. A tragic death occurs under very puzzling circumstances and Josse sets of on a trail that leads him into danger and intrigue. Hit pursuit of the truth leads him into many adventures and dangers. Josse's mission leads him on the path to an Abbey, where the Abbess Helewise is on the same mysterious path and mission as Josse.
