This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.

Story was great, characters were well established and believable, supporting characters weren't as annoying as they typically are in a YA novel. The only thing keeping me from giving this five stars was the author's actual writing structure. It read more like a children's book than a YA. The story was cute and very well executed. The pop culture references were entertaining as well. I definitely recommend it for a quick read.

I thought this was a cute book. It would make for a good summery beach read if you're in the market. It was a little difficult for me to relate to the main character since I never did the whole sorority thing in college and the drama was a little overly dramatic at times, but I didn't care. I still enjoyed the book if for no reason other than the super sweet friend/love interest Reed. He was the polar opposite of the initial love interest and skinny dipping partner, Dylan. Dylan was controlling and, I feared, dangerous. Reed was adorable and protective and a good fit for Juliet. I enjoyed their banter as friends and watching their relationship develop further over time.

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping was a fun romp. I read it in preparation for the second book in the standalone series, The Hazards of a One Night Stand. While I enjoyed the second book far more than this one, it was sexy and sweet enough to get my attention and didn't throw up any major red flags.
