After her seventeenth birthday, strange things begin to happen to aspiring artist Miriam 'Mia' Morcos. While Mia's parents travel the world for an important archeological expedition, she stays with her aunt in Toronto, goes to school and volunteers at a library. Her simple, normal, life is suddenly changed when she begins to have recurring dreams set in Ancient Egypt and of a handsome, mysterious, boy who seems to be a prince.One day, on a trip to the annual international exhibition, she is called by a strange power; a scarab that could be the key to unlocking the mysteries of a past life, only to find that the boy from her dreams is real; his name is Amun, and he seems to know more about her than she knows about herself. Amun tells her of a past she does not remember, a past that was stolen from her by the evil God of Destruction in Egyptian mythology, Set.Mia doesn't know if she can trust the mysterious Amun, and but she knows three things; The Chimera, who are demons that serve the evil god, are coming. Set is coming once more to finish what he started thousands of years ago, and if she does not succeed in the end, the whole world will be plunged into darkness.
