The Creeper

This had great potential to be a suspenseful horror with atmospheric creepy moments, but sadly the reveals weren't paced well and the build-up just fell a bit flat for me. It didn't feel like there was any intrigue because the second something slightly creepy happened it was then immediately revealed what it was, which totally took away from the tension. Also, I hated that the main character turned Chloe, his companion for this mission, into such a victim. He kept trying to do things for her or worry about her being weak even though she'd never done anything to give that impression about herself. It didn't further the plot or the characters to make Chloe such a stereotypical damsel in distress so I don't see why it was included. 

I enjoyed the idea of the mystery behind this horror plot, but it just didn't quite hit for me. Not bad, just not for me.
