Consistent growth. I think the author has done such a good job of writing out the growth of her characters. The added depth of some of the more lighthearted characters have made them instant favorites. Can’t wait to read the third book.

The second installment of the Trylle Trilogy. Unfortunately, it wasnt much better than book 1. Wendy Everly, princess and queen-to-be want any better than she was. She still does what she wants too, regardless of the results it might bring. Even worse, though, is now she does not only have two love interests but three. Luckily, she seems to have passed of the second one as just a friend. She's getting me more and more frustrated, and I hope she figures herself out in the next book.

I liked this book even better than the first one! At first I was rooting for Finn, but then Loki happened...and I really like his name, too. Tove and Duncan would be some of my best friends. I love them. I was kind of upset that there wasn't as much of Matt and Rhys is this book that I would have liked, but whatever. I also loved getting to see another side of Elora that didn't make me want to throw a heavy book at her head.

Amanda Hocking is just amazing. When I first started reading Switched I was not expecting Trolls,I was honestly expecting like Vampires but I love the Troll idea. THis book was just perf. Can't wait to start Ascend!!

Holy cow this book was good! Why are royals always evil? Like, why do they think they're soooooo much better than everyone else? All of my favorite YA novels not only have a main villain, but they always have a terrible society issue. Social standards are rough to learn for these poor changelings who have very minimal time to learn about a whole new society before being thrown into it with the expectation of perfection. And that's just the normal kids, not Princess Wendy who seems to have things exponentially worse. The title of this book says it all. Wendy's not sure what the best thing is for her people. She wants to do right by them and make sure they're not facing certain doom. She wants them to be a better people. And she's been Princess for about a month. And that is exactly why she's Princess and QUEEN material. I'm hoping the third book gets around to some of the society issues (as well as the looooooooove issues) but I'm honestly not sure where it's going or if there's enough book to solve everything. I know there's another series but I don't think it plays in with this one very much. While the love shape (too big to be a triangle?) isn't quite as immense as the one from The Mortal Instruments series, it's still pretty epic. There's character growth, there's plot progression, all those good things. What I want to know is, WHERE DOES IT END? HOW? WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN? As I said with 'Switched' it's a pretty easy, enjoyable read. I started this one last night before bed and finished tonight in about two hours. I like most of the characters, you know, the likable ones, not the bad guys. Sometimes I do like the bad guys. Ok. I like Loki. But who doesn't like a guy named Loki? And I still trust him more than I trust Rhys. Who BTW was not in this one very much, but I still get a weird vibe off of him. I do not like him, nope, nope, nope. I love Tove and Finn and Loki (I know I said that already) and Willa and uhm, well Wendy duh, and Duncan's okay. Not too fond of Matt or Rhys. The Queen is growing on me. I like Sara too. I don't know I'm sleep deprived so this is a jumbled mess so I'll just end it here: It's a good book. Read it.

So we get introduced to this new guy with the fainting power whose name is Loki and who is super sexy and pow pow pow Wendy falls for him out of the blue. What the hell happened with Finn being your love? And I thought that at least here we won't have a love triangle. This is the only reason this book got 4 stars. Really, it is. The plot was really, really good! We finally get to see Mat again and there are all the characters I liked form book number one. But no. There has to be a love triangle. Moi:

I really enjoyed reading Switched and Torn was not a disappointment. We get to see Wendy learn more about who she is and what she is suppose to do. We see her develop more in this book and there were still times that I found her a little annoying but I still liked her. You get to find out more about Matt who I really loved in the first book and I still really love him!!! I still love Finn but I did find his and Wendy's relationship more frustrating in this book. She is totally in love with him but he ignores her most of the book. Then there enter a third party to make it a love triangle. I like Loki but I feel that Wendy should end up with Finn I just like him better!!! I will be reading the next book in the series!!!! This book is a fast easy read and I think that people who enjoy paranormal romances will like this series!!!! I would like to thanks the girls at Bookish Things & More book blog, I won this book from their blog. can we talk about Loki for one second? he’s the cutest little thing ever. if wendy won’t have him, i will.

Well this book was as a disappointment. For he first time I dont ship the main characters at all. Since book 1 and Finn has been telling Wendy they cant be together, and almost un every damn chapter she begs him to choose her and then run crying to her room. It's so frustrating. Also the love triangle doesn't make sense at all! The author is pushing Loki to be a love interest but in the book they have met only 5 times *sigh*. I will read the 3rd book since I'm curious about the ending. Hopefully its better
