wow. second edition to the series, and this book shocked me. it was so beautiful and inspiring and hit close to home with eden finally opening up about her trauma and being on her path to justice. i absolutely loved and was so thrilled to read that eden and josh were able to move throughout their past and problems together and stay with each other. read this book!!!

I could not wait to crack this book open, and I cannot imagine the long wait that readers had if they had read the first one when it had come out. The characters felt a little different this time around, which realistically would be the case when Eden is getting help finally. She felt more soft, and while some people seemed to not have appreciated it, I did. There was a definite change in tone, and it felt more hopeful.

I had been looking forward to reading the sequel ever since I heard there was gonna be a book two

I liked getting to know Eden and Josh, their story and their seperate stories. It felt realistic with the way the trial ended and the break they took near the end of the book

But I also wish we got more details about their private lives and the result of the trial, however Eden did her best and I believe that if the results would have been negative that would have overshadowed the process and change she went through to find herself

I really liked that the characters was more focused on working on themselves, before they commited themselves to the relationship, because I believe that is important
