The plot of this book is to fuck, I'm pretty sure it's just to fuck at least? I don't know. I enjoyed it! I was a little confused on the plot at times, but ultimately I was entertained the entire time so a fun read.

ummmm what The plot is honestly amazing and the reason this book got any stars at all. The writing was not great.

Oh dear god this was something.

4.5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ First thoughts I am such a sucker for witches, fae, and alpha-holes. This book was recommended so many times. Once I started, I could not put it down. It has some of the original supernatural gang, lots of spice, a great warning at the beginning, a bad ass female, and some good action with some mystery. I have some theories and cannot wait to start the 2nd one. ----- Syn’s a witch who works for The Guild and her main job is protecting humans. She receives a new assignment protecting a Fae Prince and her bad history with fae is not making this new task easy. It doesn’t help when this steamy prince makes her feel all types of ways while pushing all of her buttons. Luckily she has two “family” members in her coven to help support her through her new tribulation. This book had such a great start that pulled you in and made sure putting down was not an option. There was some missed editing and some flow issue but the story was so great. Be prepared to think its over just to find out IT IS NOT. The ending is on a slight cliff hanger but I am so eager to start the next one. I highly recommend this book with its awesome story, great characters and some very nice and spicy scenes. Make sure you read the warning page and I will put this at a spice level of 7.5. (My scale starts with Cruel Prince and ends with Den Of Vipers)

Love this so much! Incredibly spicy but the plot line was equally as good. Cannot recommend enough!! Definitely got all the emotions going as well.

3.75? This is the second series by this author I've started to read. Both of the series had so much potential. The other one I had to stop reading by the third book I couldn't stand it anymore. This book was so much better overall, but the story/plot/character development is still very convoluted and lacking, especially the story and plot and world building. Smut is 100%, and as much as I appreciate that, you also need a good story.

DNF this book. I just couldn't. I literally had to push myself to read, to know what the fuss is all about and to see if this rape-y vibes will ever be toned down but NO. The sexual abuse was too much for me. There’s absolutely nothing I hate more than romanticising any form of abuse, especially sexual abuse. And no, no explanation or redemption works for me. It's like this book has 2 plots, one is to figure out the mystery and second was how much the main characters want to fuck each together. And you guessed it, more than 50% of the books is how the main characters fighting their attraction and the damn dark prince forcing himself on her. No thank you. 😐
