American Fascists The Christian Right and the War On America

if you want a better understanding of politics in america, this book is great at giving you a deeper more intersectional portrayal of it. I love almost everything this book is about but I really just appreciate this wide critique of the american political system. the writing is easy to understand and the author is amazing at giving very important very real very tragic references to how things are and were in american society. not to mention the emphasis on what religion can do to a nation when it's dangerously paired with politics.
