To be really honest, this book was just okay. The first few stories were pretty cringy to me, but it picked up after a few. The Blessings of Little Wants was the first one where I enjoyed reading the story. After that, it toggled back and forth for me whether I enjoyed it or not. I really do think Sarah Enni’s story was my favorite of the lot, though I think Marigold was probably the strongest villain protagonist - though I don’t really see that one as a villain so much.

But god, the booktuber bits were skull numbingly stupid. I feel these short stories could have stood on their own happily and I just didn’t enjoy them. They made me feel like I was being belittled as a reader in a lot of them.

All in all, if the perspectives of villains interests you, go for it. Some of these are good, some are bad, and as with all literature it’s up to you to determine what you like. I personally would recommend snagging this from the library first before buying it outright.
