Sancte Diaboli: Part Two

Sancte Diaboli: Part Two The Elite Kings Club #7

Amo Jones2021
He held a darkness that could never be touched. She carried a light that could never be seen. Not by anyone. Only by each other. Simply two halves of the same soul, Brantley and Saint were fused together with equal parts wrath and peace. Nothing could break through their bond. Nothing. Until now.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I. Did. Not. Want. This. Book. To. End. If you haven't read this series, which I highly recommend you do, these books are so easy to read. They suck you in and get you all tangled up into the mess that is The Elite Kings Club. But when I tell you I have NEVER in my life read a book so purposely slow in my life, I’m not exaggerating. Not one bit. This book literally ripped out my heart, multiple times. It was a very intense read and I have no clue how I’m even able to type out this review, I am mentally exhausted. This book was one hell of a ride and I’d do it again anytime. Somehow, I don’t know how, but this book made me love Brantley and Saint even more. The things that these two have gone through and go throughout this book amaze me and truly show how strong they are and how well they fit together. They complement each other so well. It’s such a bittersweet way to end things in The Elite Kings series. I hate to see it go, but all good things must come. Also, no matter what you do you will not be prepared for this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a solid book. I’ve long awaited the end to this series, the HEAs for our boys, and it’s here. I have to say, it let me down a tad. I thought the book felt a little rushed to me, a little predictable, a little bit missing of Amo’s usual mind-messery. The twists weren’t believable, and certain parts seem unnecessary, like they were there just so the book wouldn’t be all sunshine and rainbows. I also have to say I don’t quite understand the last MadShip book. We know they’ve got their HEA and I’m not sure I care to know what happened in between. They got theirs, just let them be happy. Still, this was a solid end to the series. Long-time readers will love it. If you’re a little on the outside, it falls a little flat.

Sancte is a spine tingling new chapter of this twisted, spell binding kingdom sucking you right back in from the moment you open it’s pages. This is not the same series you start with in book one. It’s exquisitely more. As the characters grow, seeping their roots into your soul, they infiltrate your heart to it’s core. These aren’t the same people you met in book 1, and why would they be? They’ve been through so much. Our boys, who were never granted the luxury of actually being boys, are grown now. I feel like I’ve watched them age in fast speed, that’s how deeply these characters seep into you as you read. Brantley, my beautiful grim reaper, I knew you’d be my favorite. Saint, Dea, you may have stolen my witchy heart. She is a heroine of my own vibe. Brantley and her’s relationship is... odd, with the salacious taste of forbidden. Their relationship is them. Their attraction doesn’t take the course it should nor want to take. There’s no real way to describe it. It’s uncomfortably perfect and beautifully haunting in my eyes. Everything it should be. There are a lot of moving pieces in this book, the cliffhanger is one that will shake you. There are new elements introduced bringing you to a place you didn’t necessarily think you’d be in this series unless you’ve paid attention. You’ll sit there staring at the pages asking yourself wtf just happened. But would it be an Amo book if it didn’t leave you that way at the end? I think not. I have my thoughts but I’m not betting on anything until Part 2 is in my hands.

Sancte Diaboli: Part Two (Elite King’s Club #7) by Amo Jones is the conclusion to Brantley and Saint story. Loved it all with the drama, suspense and good humor with the Elite Kings guys. Amo Jones and her mindf**k always the best. Brantley feels he can not love Saint the way she deserves. Saint bless her sweet soul has enough love for them both. The best part she accepts him as is and never tries to change him. Another awesome read in The Elite King’s Club fascinating unpredictable crazy world. Dark Romance Series Highly Recommend
