The Devil's Match
Reviews

Actual Rating : 4.5 Stars I received an ARC of this book form the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you Amo Jones! Oh man, how can a psychopath make me swoon so effing much? Because Amo Jones created him, that's why. Ever since I started this series, Frost has captured my attention. He is all dark, broody and mysterious. Speaking of mysterious, in this book, we see a completely different side to Ella. One that was always hidden from us. One that surprises us yet makes so much sense. I stormed through this book. I couldn't believe I had finished it so quickly, and then I got really upset because I wanted MORE. Amo Jones better get her butt in gear, cause I'll go all Ella on her. *devilish grin followed by batting eyelashes* Amo Jones is the queen of plot twists. I don't understand how she manages to tie up her million loose ends whilst creating a million more to keep us hanging by. Every resolution creates a new situation. When I think back to the first book in the series, I can clearly the layered complexity of the plot, and it is a breathtaking concept. You may be asking yourself, why only 4.5 stars if ya loved it so much? Well... I want more darkness, more angst, more intensity. I think I may be a little Frost-y myself when it comes to books, or have been desensitized by so many angsty books I have read, but I was expecting more. Nevertheless, that is just my cold heart speaking out, because my brain LOVED IT.
