The Silver Swan The Elite Kings Club #1
Reviews

Actually read the silver envelope

Have you ever just read a book and knew right away that not only you are going to enjoy the book but also fall in love with a brand new Author? That is exactly what this book did for me. Have I been sitting under a rock my whole life? How could I not know about Amo Jones before this??? I don’t even know where to start with this book because I just loved everything about it. I could not put this book down. There’s mystery, suspense, tension, and a hell of a lot erotic scenes. This was a really unique read for me I really don’t think I’ve ever read a book like this before. Yes I’ve read dark romance books before and they always peaked my interest, but this one was just really different. I was sucked into everything about the story I wanted to know what The Elite kings Club wanted with Madison (our main character), why was she so important to guard yet at the same time they despise absolutely everything about her. I found it really intriguing, so much so I am already dying to get my hands on book two. I honestly didn’t know what to think or who to believe while reading this book. Who do we trust? Could we really trust anybody? I second guest and questioned every single thing Madison did, especially with the people that she hangs out and gets tied up with. One complaint I know this book has and will get, are the things that these kids are doing. Now mind you this is a book is about a bunch of teenagers, they’re in high school. So a lot of what these kids do and go through is fantastical. The specific group of highschoolers come from money. Are there parents ever around? No. Do they do many questionable things that high schoolers probably shouldn’t do? Yes, absolutely. But, this is a book and this is why I love reading. You are going to get unlikely situations happening in a book like this and I love that. That’s what makes this book specifically different. It’s not your typical song and dance. Now, I honestly would recommend this book to anybody, only if you really like dark romances. This book isn’t sunshine and rainbows. If you’re looking for a really good messed up story with really hot bad ass alphas (who are always horny 🤷🏻♀️) who are also absolute dicks then this would be a great read for you. The even Amo Jones gives you a nice warning: “This is a warning (and the only one I'll give you). It's crazy. I don't compare my work to my others, but this book is f**ked. It will most likely stomp all the f**k over people's hard limits (and not give a sh*t while it's doing it) and will make you second guess all the morals you thought you had. This most definitely is not looking like a love story right now... more like a..... I don't even....*shakes head* anyway, I apologise now. You asked for it......." Dark erotic Romance is my freaking jam. I don’t know what it is about these kind of books but it honestly does something to my soul and I just can’t get enough. I’m excited to read book two to see where this story with Madison goes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!

i did not understand a thing,,,, and yes i would be tuning in 😁

I hate Bishop so much. I tried liking Madison but she was annoying some of the time and really stupid a lot of the time. They’re little group sounds so ridiculous and Bishop wasn’t intimidating he was like some wannabe gangster. I’m continuing this series for Brantley.

The best book i have ever read

This book had my mind going a million different directions, which is normal for Amo Jones’ writing. I got hooked so quickly and I can’t wait to continue the rest of the series.

I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it. Oh.My.God! This book is insane. But incredible. And wow! And how fast can the next one be delivered to me? Seriously, run, don't walk, to grab this book! It has romance and drama and just so much of everything great. Seriously though, I loved this book! It's different to what I usually read, but it's amazing. So do yourself a favour, or not because I have a feeling the book hangover struggle is going to be real, but read it anyway because it's just that good!

Hace años más o menos tenía este libro en mi tbr y la verdad esperaba más, igual estuvo ok osea me dio un poco de cringe pero estuvo algo entretenido y hasta me dio Devil's Night vibes

I didn't like the book one bit, I dislike everyone except Nate and Tillie, and to make things worse I didn't understand anything about the meaning of the cover “the silver swan”

I'm left speechless with this read. And not in a good way. There were too many scenes, moments, hell even interactions that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I was barely able to complete this read. The vulgarness of the Elite Kings were almost too much to bare and the weak heroine, who I loved in the beginning chapters, helped dwindle down my overall reading experience.

Madison is thrusted into a world that she doesn't understand. She is bombarded by sexy men who are taunting her with "riddles" at her every turn and her dad is telling her to stay away from them. Why can't she seem to stay away from them. Bishop motherf***ing Hayes! AHHHH... there is so much to say about him, he seems like the playboy with the good looks. He keeps his secrets close to his chest but that only pushes everyone, including Madison away. He can't help it though there is just things she cannot know. Bishop is trying to figure out why she is back and what his dad has to do with it. Madison, she is strong beyond her years and doesn't even realize it. She has so much power over bishop but cannot get passed him not telling her everything and the games he plays with her. I Love the dynamic between Nate and Madison, and how he has become her rock through the first book. You can see that Madison has had a troubled upbringing and it makes her so much more relatable. The world building in this book is incredible. Amo Jones does a magnificent job at giving you little crumbs through the book for you to try to piece together but when the bomb drops at the end you have no idea its coming. The way she builds this book makes it feel so real. It also makes me want to find me a King because uhm, yes!

Rating: 4 Stars - Loved It The Silver Swan (Elite Kings Club #1) by Amo Jones is a New Adult with 17 - 19 years old because of the heat factor. It is a unpredictable, Dark Romance read with some angst. "The Riddle Me This..." game scenes were awesome and sometimes would creep me out, but I loved every moment. While Bishop and his friends were crazy and freaked me out a few times, I did find them mysterious. Now for the Elite Kings Club that can not be the big reveal, there has got to be more to them. I am now obsessed with the insane "Riddle Me This..." games.

this reminds me of paper princess but way wayy better and much darker too. ngl my favorite character is tillie so far, shes much a badass literally. the drama was so stupid in some parts but over all its fine.

Honestly this book was almost a little too confusing for me. There was a lot going on and not a lot explained so much so that the storyline was hard to keep up with. Maybe the second book will bring it all to light but honestly I'm not loving the characters and I don't really see a redeemable character for me to really root for.

2,5⭐️

The only reason I’m giving this 4.5 stars is cause I was left with more questions than answers at the end!! This book seriously kept me on my toes and I can’t wait to start book 2.

Edited after reread ***4 Stars*** **I just finished a reread of this book, and I still love it as much as I did the first Time, but I did notice a lot of errors when it came for the editing. One character at one time had this color eyes and when his eyes were mentioned again, they were a totally different color. There were a couple of other errors like this one too. I still love the book, but I had to drop a star because of this though** Original Review: MIND BLOWN........ That☝ is me right now. I don't even know how to put how I am feeling into words. The Silver Swan is a book filled with secrets, lies, and some sexy as hell men. I honestly had no idea what I was going into when I started it. And this being my first Amo Jones's book, I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. Well that shit went out the door after the first chapter. I. am. obsessed with these characters. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time trying to figure out with was going on. And then we get to the end and I am desperately looking for the rest of it. I can't wait to have the next book in my hand!!!

umm was i supposed to understand a single thing that happened in this book but especially from the reveal at the end?? i must have two brain cells cause i understood nothing lmao. this whole book was whack, it read like a wattpad story and a mash-up of corrupt, bully and the peer and the puppet but poorly done. it was trash but the addicting kind of trash i'm always down for so i guess i'll continue on with the series to see if i finally get some answers.

I’m SO INVESTED in this series and I’ve only read the first one. 100% recommend if you haven’t already read it. It’s like a mix of the devils night series, paper princess series

2.25 stars!

** spoiler alert ** The heroine was so dumb omg, like clues all around and she picks up nothing. She gets kidnapped twice and sleeps with the guy after. She gets a call threatening her with some riddles and she just decides it’s nothing. I got so frustrated with her and her obliviousness. Is this book bad? Yes. Am I still gonna read book two to see what happens? Absolutely.

This book is nonsensical. I don’t really get it and the characters have no motivations. Ugh

I received an ARC of this novel from Give Me Books in exchange for an honest review. Thank you give me books! Suspenseful, riveting, alarming, sexy and f*cked up. Wow. Amo Jones is a skillful writer who is able to keep the suspense throughout the whole book without loosing the reader's attention, and also without giving ANYTHING away. I literally could not put this down - except I had too because I read on the bus and, you know, 2 hrs of public bus transport, not the best. Amo always has us second guessing our judgement on characters and our impressions on situations that happen in the book. She is able to masterfully manipulate the reader to buy into the story because of how real she makes it feel when one is reading it. This book will surprise you at every turn and will make you second guess what these characters are capable of. You will keep telling yourself that it's all innocent teenager fun and games, when in fact they're f*cked up games. That ending? I was NOT expecting that! Holy moly! Can I also mention that throughout all this mind-blowing, boundary-breaking story, Amo made me laugh with Madi's quirkiness? *Cyber-jumps to amazon - buys all Amo Jones books available, no shame*

“I’m still not sure what it’s about. I went into it blind, because it has no title, no blurb, none of that.”
Tatum takes a swig of her drink. “There’s no sex?”
“No.” She hands it back.
“Sounds boring.”
I'm Tatum. 😂 The book doesn't have sex? What's the point of it then?

It’s the year 2017. We have drones, cars that can go in water, and men who walk on the moon. Why the hell haven’t they figured out how to unsend a text message? I don’t know who “they” are, but I’m blaming it on Apple.
Seriously, this is needed.

“In this world, secrets are weapons, kitty. It’s what stands between us and six feet underground.”

"I’m all about women’s sexuality. We have every right to enjoy it just like guys do."
