An Endless Cornish Summer by Phillipa Ashley has Rose who is working in Cornwall for the summer so that she can try to find the man who saved her life.  She had a rare blood issue and a bone marrow transplant saved her life.  She wrote to thank the donor, and got a postcard back, and so she's come to the place from the postcard!

Rose joins in community life, and is also working locally as she's an archaeologist, and has a dig nearby.  She's still on the lookout for her donor, and thinks it's one of the local boat building brothers.  But how is she going to find out?

This is the story about finding happiness, and has beautiful descriptions of Cornwall.  It is an uplifting romance, and was lovely to read.

This is a sweet love story with, as expected, a happy ending. If you like Phillipa Ashley’s writing style you will like this book. 
Rose, a PHD graduate in archaeology moves to Falford to work on a local dig and teach at the local university following a grant approval, however there is more to her than just that. Rose is a survivor of aplastic anaemia, a very serious illness that almost took her like. She was very fortunate to receive a bone marrow transplant that was very successful. Following an unexpected event in her life, she tracks down her donner to Cornwall, more exactly the lovely village of Falford. Here she meets Oriel, Finn and Joey, who very quickly become her friends, and maybe a bit more. 
I love the descriptions of the sea, the estuary, and the village life, as well as the references to legends and myths. Rose adapted very quickly to village like and embraced enthusiastically the community spirit. She is a very sweet girl who wants to live life to the fullest and help those around her. 
Finn and Joey are brothers, and they flight and have each other backs as brothers do. I enjoyed reading about their relationship, but sometimes the banter/chat felt off. I did not like the repeated ‘bro’ appellative. 
I absolutely adored Oriel and her girlfriend Naomi. Oriel is lovely and supportive, and she wants to make a success of her business, but also support the community. 
I found the pace a bit slow to start with, but once I got into the story, it sped up. I did not like the ending and found it a bit rushed. I would have liked to read more about their relationship and how it developed.
