OKAY GENUINELY THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. I absolutely loved Maya's character but it kind of blended into the others if you get what i mean. Every fmc is just a copy-paste atp. (EXCEPT SLOANE OKAY I LOVE HER) This book was pretty boring at the start like it was DRAGGING. Plus it wasn't really an enemies to lovers since sebastian liked her before too. Though i liked the mystery element in it, the letters, the stupid guy (i lowkey forgot his name) that sabatoged their event. kensworth? i have no clue. Anyway It just felt like this book was missing something. It wasn't short per se. I actually thought it was the perfect length but it felt like ana was stacking tropes on top of eachother until it eventually collapsed into itself.

I'm sorry but what in the world is this? If you want to have an Indian character as your FMC, I think the least you can do is to highlight more of her culture? You can literally change her ethnicity to a white person and it still won't affect the story. I'm just disappointed. And what yearning???? I don't feel any yearning in this book at all.

SEB AND MAYA!! Oh loved the yearning and the chemistry between them. I enjoyed their banter, so cute and sassy. I enjoyed this book, I do. the plot was great and i love how this book has all my favourite tropes, childhood rivals to lovers, forced proximity and he falls first. Sebastian and Maya’s chemistry was great, full of love, support and communication and they truly do understand one another deeply. Sebastian is such a sweetheart to Maya, I love seeing a man yearning for his woman. His confession, his words really tugged on my heart so much! I love, love, love the little cameos from the previous pairings and seeing them all hanging out together brought a smile to my face. And I also love the little cameo of Bridget and Rhys as well as Christian Harper and Stella. From the very first page of King Of Gluttony, I was hooked. But I was hoping for the length of the book a bit shorter, nonetheless, I still enjoyed the book. And I would also love to see more Indian representation. Overall, I think King Gluttony is my new favourite in the series. If you like the trope childhood rivals to lovers, then this is the book for you!

I almost basically didn’t even finish this book. It was truly a very un enjoyable reading for me personally. I understand, wanting to create diversity throughout the series so when he isn’t done with enough research your thought it often falls flat and extremely stereotypical. I really didn’t like the parents forcing you to get married. I generally don’t like it and especially within the context of the female main characters background. It just seems like a pot that’s overdone and it’s just too boring for me personally. It also felt hard for me to connect with the characters and I didn’t even like the last book either I did not finish that one either and I think this is me officially stopping away from Ana Huang book universe in general.
