Anderson Cooper has a very engaging voice. I love the fact that he narrated the audiobook. This books is full if heartbreaking tales which Cooper's engaging storytelling makes utterly captivating. His narrative is not linear though. It alternates between his "current" experiences and those that shaped him as he grew up. I didn't mind it though because it seemed to make sense. I'm also fascinated by this look back at history that happened in my lifetime. 
I definitely recommend this book.
