Prior to reading: Can someone explain why this book is so difficult to come by? It costs more than fifty dollars at every retailer I've seen and the library copy is reference only. I guess I'll just read it on my phone...

Review: This book is a critical work of feminist theory. It sets out its arguments in stunning detail (although I think chapter 4 has a bit too much detail) and I think that it is an extremely useful read for young women. In terms of reading style, it's very accessible to new theory readers and it's a good breakthrough to a lot of concepts. I liked reading this book quite a bit and I will definitely refer back to it in the future.
