*it has come to light that this author is not Native American* Was assigned this book for a college class and am so glad it was introduced to me! I love non-fictions that make me mad, because I feel like I'm really getting and the truth, learning something they don't want me to know. I've know surface level information about the mistreatment and oppression of the Native American community for some year, but this really allowed me to take a deeper dive into these issues and I'm hoping to continue to learn more as I continue my education and through my personal reading choices.
