A fascinating and eye-opening book. I think it should be a go-to option for anyone willing to learn about the history of the Airlift and the state of affairs in occupied Berlin in the years between 1945 and 1949. Glad it was my first choice for diving more into this topic. Andrei Cherny did an amazing job at putting biographical and historical knowledge into a story that almost resembles an adventure fiction book. Though rather large in volume, it is a complete package, with historical, political and sociological contexts all being well presented.
