You know what phrase "with one hand tied behind their back"? Well, Reacher begins his latest adventure with an injury and literally spends the entire book in plaster! He has to do his usual Reacher fights with one hand!
Reacher has to deal with another very unReacher like handicap, amnesia. He has no idea how he ended up handcuffed to a bed. When he makes his usual escape, he is met by an "ally" who insists on helping. But is this a true ally or someone taking advantage of his memory lapse?
With a heist, romance with a capable cop and the FBI - Reacher soon finds himself neck deep in a defence contract quagmire of secrets. There is lots of confusion for the readers as they have to learn things as Jack does.
If you're like me and you don't know your NFT's from your NYC, you might struggle a touch, but with trusty internet searches I managed to keep up. You may have to switch off the sensible part of your brain when Reacher manages to get on an international flight - yep, Reacher takes to the air - with no valid ID, never mind a passport but this is a typical Jack Reacher adventure.
I'm here for more Reacher and the requirement for more visuals of Alan Ritchson in my head are no bad thing!
