The book started very well, defending a lot of ideas that I myself also defend, but after some pages entered the dark room of extremism, defending all the old modes, and pointing the finger at all the new modes. Internet brought us a lot of problems, but brought also a lot of good things, we're still finding ways to make the best of it, and finding ways to deal with the problems. We can't just shutdown everything, in order to maintain status quo. What we need to do is to be aware of all the changes going on, and try to understand how to rule them for the best today, not ruling them for being the same as in our previous states.

Andrew Keen is know as one of the greatest attackers on the Web 2.0, I understand his positions, but he'll need to learn to argument better his ideas, learn that life is not immutable. We change, we keep changing all the time, and technology is only a part of the equation of our transformation.

The problem in the end, is not what he's presenting, but the way he chose to present it.
