This is my very first Shakespeare play, I read it when I was about 11-12 years old, in arabic (I knew no english back then :D ) that's why it has a special place in my heart!

Here again, love is one of the play's main themes, in addition to jealousy, spite, cheating and regret.
In a very humourous way, this little retelling captures the essence of the play but of course you need to read the whole one to really enjoy Benedick and Beatrice lashing at each other.

I will wear my heart upon my sleeve for daws to peck at... A great retelling of this tragic tale of jealousy and human frailty. With Notes on Shakespeare and the Globe Theatre, and Jealousy in Othello.
