Sean Wilson@seantwilson
Roberts and Wilson sail down the stream of Scripture (amazingly quickly!) pointing out the exodus allusions along the way. The allusions are not so much argued for as simply pointed out. I think this was fine, and they managed to say a lot in a very compact book. This book seemed intended to introduce the reader to this way of reading, by quickly showing hundreds of examples, and inviting the reader's own further reflection. This is sourdough starter, not a loaf of (leavened) bread. If you're familiar with writers like James Jordan, you'll recognise what's going on here, and you'll probably still find some surprises and challenges along the way.
