This is a very short book about Dakota, a 27 year old in search of herself, her future, her biological father, love, acceptance and a white Christmas. She has a strained relationship with her mother and half sister. She finds out at 17 years old that the father she knows is not her biological father. Her mother refuses to tell her the name of her father and seems to be an all around opposite to Dakota. Her search takes her to Vinegrove. She seems to immediately adjust from city life to country life and makes quite a few new friends. She first meets Tristan Hart and there is an instant mutual attraction. The only thing missing from this book is the filler where all of the characters are fleshed out and you really connect to them. I like the characters but I don't know much about them really. 

I found it to be a very easy read and I was able stay interested in this book throughout. It's a sweet story. I just wish it was longer and more descriptive.
