Must Love Ghosts

I really enjoyed this book's writing style as it is very fluent. I enjoyed as well that you read both POVs but the male one seems to get a little bit more attention, which I found to be nice.

The story itself isn't overly complicated, but I didn't expect that. The paranormal side was interesting to read and it wouldn't have bothered me if there would have been more about ghosts and myths. And the hints at Welcome to Night Vale (a rather popular podcast, which you can listen to for free) were very welcome.

The romance between Abby and Mike was nothing special but it wasn't done badly. There was just one thing which I found a little bit disturbing: They're both drunk and Mike ties her hands behind her back without asking first. And then later the reader and Abby learn he has no way to get her out of it. Don't try this at home! That being said their sex scenes were... nice, but they didn't do anything for me because mostly there weren't enough details. But since this book is not an erotic romance....

The end is rather fast and the drama is solved with absolutely no problem. The ending makes sense as Must love ghosts is the first installment in a series, but the undramatic drama? I would have liked if there would have been more about it.
