I’m torn with this one. I’ve never read a book with so little dialogue. There’s about 100 characters (not an exaggeration) so it’s difficult to become attached to anyone. I think this needs to be looked at as a quick story about the biblical woman Dinah and nothing more. I didn’t enjoy it very much, but I can recognize that it’s written very well.
