I really enjoyed this fantasy novel! It does remind me of Holly Black.

I really enjoyed the diverse characters and real life comparisons with racism in the novel. Dayleview does a great job in making the issues relevant.

Her world building was very interesting but I would have liked to read more between the different courts and explanations of the different Fae she has in the novel.

Overall, I’m excited for book two to keep reading about Freddie and Aiden!
