the second book definitely had better writing! i’m just sad it was a novella because i wanted to see more of them, especially now that we get to see julius’ pov.

speaking of which, aside from how short it was, my only critic for this book is that i wish the pov’s were written in the same way—sadie’s first person while julius’ pov was written in third. it’s something really small but either way, it didn’t really affect my overall reading experience that much! i loved reading about their little adventures before they enter college 💖

hopefully this gaping hole in my heart for sadie and julius will be healed through the limited fan fictions i’ve seen in ao3!
