Kiss To Defy A Multicultural College Sports Romance
Reviews

I’m loving all of Anna’s books and this one was pretty amazing. I loved Rei and Zane and how they came together. Zane is a hockey player and we knew him from the previous books, he’s friends with Nix and like family with Hayden and I really wanted to read more about him. Rei is new to Blairwood and determined to balance her college life with her figure skating life. She becomes fast friends with Grace, Yasmin’s best friend and Jade, Nixon’s sister. We read some of their interactions and how they help Rei loosen up and have fun besides all the work she does. At first she and Zane don’t get along but little by little they start getting to know one another and despite being from opposites worlds they have a lot in common and they start having feelings for each other. I really enjoyed their interactions, Zane always felt he wasn’t good enough for her but Rei never cared about that so I loved how she always tried to tell him he was what she wanted. It was hard for them to be together thanks to her dad and coach but at the end nothing mattered that what they both felt for each other. Now I can’t wait to read more about Grace and maybe Jade and Maddox’s story too. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
