Your standard “I’ll kill whoever hurt you” trope, but throw in a painting theft and powerful family.

Haven moved from Miami to San Francisco to get away from her slimy, abusive ex. She is not about to go down that hole again. Does she daydream slightly over her new bestie's brother? Well, she'd be dead if she didn't admit he revved her engine. But that's how she got into trouble last time, mixing business with pleasure. Added wrinkle, her fantasy man is also her BOSS' brother. But fate is being fickle again and what Haven NEEDS may not be what she WANTS to admit to. Haven has become a ...well, a magnet for trouble. She faces more kidnap attempts than Penelope Pitstop ever did! Rhys may be the wham, bam, thank you ma'am type but since he caught sight of Haven, he's only had the pleasure of his own hand! What about the beautiful but timid art nerd sets him alight? She seems to have an A+ in avoidance skills where he is concerned! But when abduction seems to become the daily norm for Haven, he will burn the world before he allows anything to happen to her! Super smart, cultured art nerd heroine plus one bada$$, super sexy protector Alpha equals red hot start to a new series! I truly LOL'ed at more than a few of the perils in Haven's way - I thought I was the disaster magnet! Rhys is just about perfection and with the added bonus of 2 other sexy brothers to learn about. But let's not forget about Gia - that female is my new girl crush! I reeeeeeally want to know what she has been getting up to behind her brother's backs! I could see at least a dozen books out of this series, to include all the Norcross siblings and various team members ( Norcross seems to attract uber hotties!). Supernova start to a new series with engaging, empathetic characters with a streak of humour and a genuinely adrenaline filled story!
