Holy Moly, Gia and Saxon should not be around any flammable material! Their chemistry is off the charts hot, even whilst they banter and bicker like Hepburn & Tracy. Gia has a heart of gold wrapped up in her a-type personality. So much so an old friend has led danger right to her door. Gia wants to help her friend but to do so she might have to put up with Saxon being a lot closer than is comfortable. Saxon has been a part of the Norcross family since he was a teenager. Their family always highlighted the downfalls of his own family. They were far too pretentious, entitled, and just plain rich to bother with their son. He found the family he needed with the Norcross' and he'll do anything to protect them from danger, even if that danger comes from them! Gia had been the stuff of very vivid dreams for years, so much so he started dating only women who look nothing like her. But ow that she is in the crosshairs of some very dangerous men, Saxon is grabbing onto his dream girl and not letting go. Now he just has to get Gia to admit she loves him just as much and then face the very men he calls "brother!. That is not going to go well!!!! I simply adored Gia. I'm totally girl crushing over her. She is small but mighty and she doesn't let lack of experience in law enforcement or investigation get in the way of her helping her friend. Saxon is just lushness wrapped in a designer suit. I'm not normally one for millionaire/billionaire heroes but with the exception of the very nice digs and a healthy passion for nice things, you kinda forget about the money and just think of the former veteran badass. My day was made when we got a little crossover visit from characters from another series (my little heart when pitter-patter in excitement). Sarcastic, witty, funny banter and hot tamale passion is a great mix. Easton...oh boy is he in for a tough time! But I really do hope that the other Norcross staff and friends get a book too 'cause Rome, Hunt and the others are really worthy of their own HEA's.
