If you love an enemies-lovers trope, this is one read you'll love. 

Set in a booming Atlanta, Ga, Charolette is an audit managing director, and Callum is head of application development. It is a long-standing agreement that everyone in the company hates the auditing team because they need things that Callum says are unnecessary on top of his regular workload. 

It is during dead week, I think that's the name of the week, that Callum and Charolette's attraction to each other magnifies into more than irritated flirting over work meetings and instant messages. 

They break each other down and give their attraction a chance to have a go at a relationship. Everything is going well for them until Callum takes Charolette to meet his family, and that includes his never-satisfied father. 

With some snide comments from Callum's dad and the fact Charlotte is given a promotion that she and Callum were both competing for, the question arises if their relationship is strong enough to stay together. 

Will they be able to make their relationship work?

Does Callum want to impress his dad more than Charlotte?

Do we find out why the dates of deadlines keep getting changed?
