Unforgiven was an extremely well written book. The characters were very believable as was the plot. Emotions were high from the beginning and the level of emotions continued to pulse even higher as the book went along. However, I didn't enjoy reading this book. I found it depressing. There was so much death and loss throughout the book, that the ending was too little too late. I had trouble seeing how the characters in this book could ever be happy with the staggering amount of emotional baggage that they all carried. Good book but hard to read.
