This was a nice little slice of Jesse and Lucy but I’m beginning to think this series is getting too big and there’s too many moving parts.
Once again, we have at least 4 POVs in this book, a novella. It’s too much. There’s too many storyline’s, too many things going on. I’d much rather each book focus on one couple and what’s going on with them, with the mafia stuff sprinkled in with that. Instead, it’s all crammed in together and it gets confusing and muddled.
Only time can see where this series will go, and how it will, but a little more focus would be nice.
